With regard to the feed back received in the Swakulla Sali Engineers Meet held by Samyuktha Swakulasali Sangha at  Venus international school ,Bangalore on 11th Jan 2009, for establishing a library for students of our  community , we are planning to setup a small library.

We request all the community member come forward and donate the books which will be useful for setting up the library where students can refer, use it and return back to library .This will help the needy students of our community. We need your cooperation for a very charitable and helpful cause.

To start with, we have 5 books from 3 donors at present..

1)    Please let us know how YOU CAN HELP – by giving away your old books (you can write the number of books and title below if you know it) or by donating a small amount financially or in any other way.

2)    Spread the word. Forward this info /link to your friends who can help.

3)    Let us know your view on how the library should work its location etc.

4)    If you are interested to take up initiative /coordinate this process, please let us know.

The “Swakulasali Engineers Meet” was successfully conducted at Venus International public school, rajaji nagar , Bangalore on Jan 11, 2009.The Meet was  inaugurated by Sri S.Suresh, hon’ble minister.The souvenier and web site inaguration followed.

Highlights of the meet are given below ( more will be updated)

. A  job board containg the openings of various job openings was posted on Meet. Attendees noted down the openings to contact the related ppl .

. Good interaction among the Engineers in the last session

. Good Experiences shared by Mr. Suresh Sapare & Mr. Vittal Rao and
encouraging youngsters to believe in themselves and make good usage of the Sangha. Also by many more ….

. Good Speeches by few dignitaries (in first and second sessions) prominently by Mr. Vivek Kulkarni( Chief Guest), Mrs. Rajani, and many more…
-Mr Vivek kulkarni gave seminar on current IT industry
-Mrs Rajani gave useful seminar on personality development.

-Mr gunayathi Chandrashekhar shared his success story and offered all needed assistance for doing final year electronic projects in his ’spark controls’ company

. It was a good platform to know many people and few discussed about the job opportunities in their companies.

Good Feedbacks and suggestions given by Engineers

Engineers shared many feedback about the event , few are given below

-Need a library to be setup, so that needy students can utilize the books in library and those after their study can donate books to library.

-we should have similar events in pune,hyderabad etc.

-need few more seminars on personality development.

-need a counselling cell to be setup for students & freshers to help make correct choise of job/courses.

-need to have all proffessinal meet / doctors meet / etc .

Paramapujya Sri Ananthaswami maharaj’s 107^th anniversary celebrations were held successfully from 28/12/2008 to 03/01/2009 at Sri Anantha Ashram , Gandhinagar , Bangalore. The programmes were mainly of spiritual theme and based on hindu selfhelp. Everyday routines included chanting of Bhagavat Gita ( Indian epic) , Gnaneshwari  and traditional pandhari bhajans (singing).

The highlights of the evenings were again bhajans from various organizations, devotional singing, and ashirvachan (Indian self help) from various spiritual swamijis. Everyday Prasad (food) was served to all those present and the poor.

The final day was attended by nearly 800 devotees. It was a treat to the eyes to watch the volunteers engaging themselves in this great spiritual gathering and serving the proceedings. The devotees came from Pandarpur, Alandi and various parts of Karnataka state.
